Wins in a dozen events led Robinson High School's boys' track team to a win in a five-team meet on the RHS track Monday (April 29).
The Maroons racked up victories in 12 of the 18 events on their way to scoring 94 points to outdistance the rest of the field. Paris was second with 78 points, followed by Lawrenceville (39), Effingham (39) and Olney (23).
Leading the way for RHS was Grayson Wolf, as he won three events. Wolf finished first in the 110 hurdles (15.93), shot put (44-11.5) and triple jump (37-7), while also winning for RHS were Trent Rodgers in the 200 (24.22), Mitch Mitchell in the 400 (56.44), Negus Bogard in the 800 (2:08.05), Trayton Tragesser in the 1600 (5:08.83), Koty Amdahl in the 3200 (13:03.32), the 400 relay team of Mitchell, Rodgers, Tyler Beard and Jake Servison (48.06), the 800 relay team of Rodgers, Beard, Jordan Peternal and Wyatt Bonnell (1:37.91), the 1600 relay team of Zach Buttolph, Parker Middleton, Bogard and Bonnell (3:45.41) and the 3200 relay team of Tragesser, Bonnell, Carter Shew and Bogard (9:16.30).
Finishing second for RHS were Servison in the 400 (56.47), Buttolph in the 800 (2:11.63) and Amdahl in the 1600 (5:09.94), while coming in third was Middleton in the 800 (2:20.68).
