Lady Tigers lose at Flora in two

Recent struggles continued for Hutsonville-Palestine's volleyball team Tuesday.

The Lady Tigers dropped their fifth straight match with a straight-set defeat at Flora, 7-25, 16-25, in Little Illini Conference play.

Chloe Fulling led Hutsonville-Palestine with seven spikes, including one kill and six good serves with two aces, while Kiley Rariden netted seven good serves with two aces and two spikes with one kill. Emily Nehls posted 20 good sets and two good serves and Taci Newlin added 11 good sets and two spikes.

Hutsonville-Palestine also lost the junior varsity match in straight sets, 16-25, 18-25.

Rariden led the Lady Tigers with nine good serves, including two aces and two spikes with two kills, while Baylee Baker posted 21 good sets and five good serves with two aces. Newlin totaled nine good sets, four good serves and one spike with one kill and Ashley Stephens added six good serves and two spikes with one kill.

At Flora
