Results were the same for the second straight week in underclass football action involving Crawford County teams.
Oblong's junior varsity football team got back to the .500 mark on the season Monday, while Robinson's freshman-sophomore team dropped their second straight game.
At Oblong, the JV Panthers picked up a 21-12 win over visiting Red Hill.
Wes Jones led Oblong with two touchdown passes, while Drew Reider caught three passes, including one for a touchdown. Martin Spaeth added a touchdown reception, Haze Lemmon caught three passes, including one for a two-point conversion, Dalton Noblitt had a 65-yard touchdown run, Chandler Manhart caught two passes and Brian Cross kicked an extra point.
Defensively for OHS, Reider had two interceptions, Chris Thompson had a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, Cole Worthey had a fumble recovery and Chance Wall had a forced fumble.
Oblong (2-2) will play host to Edwards County Monday at 6:15 p.m.
At Marshall, Robinson came up just short to the host squad, 24-22.
Jake Powell led the JV Maroons with 132 yards rushing on 23 carries, while Logan Miller ran 13 times for 61 yards and two touchdowns. Mason Shew posted 21 yards on six carries with a touchdown and a two-point conversion run, Dylan Dirks ran 10 times for 28 yards and Ethan White ran twice for seven yards and scored on a two-point conversion run.
On defense, Palmer Hutchens recovered two fumbles, Landon Hayes recovered a fumble and Dirks and Zach Clements each had an interception.
Robinson (1-2) will play host to Olney Monday at 6:15 p.m.
Palestine-Hutsonville was slated to open their JV schedule against Cumberland Monday, but Cumberland cancelled the game due to a lack of players.
The Pioneers are scheduled to play at Red Hill Monday at 6:15 p.m.
