Four arrested on meth charges in two incidents
Area authorities made four arrests on methamphetamine charges on Tuesday, in two different incidents.

According to a Lawrence County Jail report, both the St. Francisville and Sumner police departments made two arrests.

Sumner Police Chief Travis Trainer said his department arrested Jackie Ann Mower, 54, Olney, and Mark Alan Beauchamp, 31, Sumner.

Trainer says that at 8:40 p.m. Tuesday, the Sumner police searched a residence at 122 West Cedar, after a search warrant was issued by Lawrence County State's Attorney Michael M. Strange.

"Upon entrance, multiple items associated with the manufacturing of methamphetamine were located, along with hypodermic syringes and other drug paraphernalia," Trainer said.

He said the bust was the culmination of a three-month investigation. The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department, as well as the Bridgeport Police Department assisted in the arrest.

In addition, St. Francisville police arrested Courtney Eugene Ferguson, 32, St. Francisville, and Kiley Dawn Tillotson, 37, St. Francisville on drug and other charges. Efforts to reach St. Francisville Police Chief Billy Darnell this morning were unsuccessful.

Ferguson was charged with possession of methamphetamine, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, burglary and possession of stolen property.

Tillotson was charged with possession of methamphetamine and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both were being held in Lawrence County Jail this morning, pending bond.
