Crawford County Arts has announced its annual Crawford County Art Show.
The 29th annual show will be open to the public Sunday, Oct. 1, through Friday, Oct. 13, in its usual home at The Fife Opera House. During the second weekend (Saturday, Oct. 7 and Sunday, Oct. 8) audiences can visit the artwork while also enjoying the Wabash Valley Wine and Art Fest.
The show is open to all amateur and professional artists 18 years or older. Artists may submit up to three pieces with an entry fee of $30 and two additional works for $5 entry fee each. All work must be strictly original and awards will be presented.
Artistic categories to be judged include, oil and acrylic 3D (sculpture, jewelry, fiber, wood, stained glass), watercolor, photography and digital arts, pastel and pencil.
Artist entry forms are due Friday, Sept. 22, and may be picked up at Crawford County Computers on the square in Robinson or by contacting the CCA President, Karla Ries at email@example.com.
All events take place at The Fife Opera House, Palestine, and most works of art will be available for purchase.
Entry deadline is Sept. 22; delivery of artwork on Sept. 29 and 30, with an artist reception and awards on Sept. 30. There will also be entertainment by Moody and the Inlaws. The show will run Oct. 1 through Oct. 13, during select hours. Artist can pickup their work on Oct. 14.
