A program that helps local high-school juniors and seniors learn about business is sponsoring a night of comedy as a fund raiser.
Crawford County CEO will present "Laugh and be Amazed!" Saturday, Jan. 18, at the Lincoln Trail College Zwermann Arts Center Theater.
Doors open for general admission seating at 6:30 p.m. with the first show at 7 p.m. The second show will start 15 minutes after the first ends.
Mike Bliss is the opening act. Recognized as one of the top entertainers in the country, Bliss has been dazzling audiences with his high-energy performances and unique, one-of-a-kind illusions across the country from Miami to Fairbanks for the past 25 years.
Isaac Witty will close out the evening.
Witty has developed a quirky and sometimes even dark style that does not fit the mold of your average clean comedian. Most people don't notice until after the show that they could have brought their grandmother.
Tickets can be purchased at First National Bank of Olney in Robinson; First Robinson Savings Bank in Oblong, Robinson and Palestine; Farmers and Merchants Bank in Hutsonville; and Harmon's Drug Store in Oblong.
Tickets are also available online at http://tickets.crawfordcountyceo.com.
The year-long CEO class meets 7:30 to 9 a.m. Monday through Friday in local businesses. It changes location every nine weeks.
