A Robinson woman now faces more charges in a fatal DUI accident that killed a motorcyclist on April 26.
Joyce Holdiman, 28, turned into the path of southbound Walter Scriff, 47, Indianapolis, Ind., from Illinois Route 1 onto County Road 1425N in Trimble, according to Illinois State Police. Scriff's vehicle hit the passenger side of the van and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Holdiman was charged Monday with two counts of aggravated driving under the influence of drugs by State's Attorney Matthew Hartrich after receiving and reviewing the reports from police. She was previously charged with improper turning left and driving without a seat belt.
Holdiman had three passengers at the time of the accident. One, Joshua Tracy, 29, was injured. He has pleaded guilty to transporting alcohol and being a passenger without a seat belt.
The other two passengers were uninjured and not charged with a crime.
