Robinson Unit 2 parents still have one week to register their student on line.
For the second year, Unit 2 is offering online registration for all students. Parents can sign up their children through Friday, Aug. 9.
Parents who do not have access to a computer, or whose children are new to Unit 2 should call their school for an appointment so they can can sign up for the 2013-14 school year using school computers.
To register, parents or guardians must first go to www.robinsonschools.com and log into "Skyward Family Access." They can then click on "Register for 2013-14" on the top left side of the screen. Then they can select the student and school of their choice in the upper menu bar.
Clicking on the "Start Registration" button will open the registration screen.
Parents will then be asked to complete several steps. The site includes complete information about each step. Once finished with a step, a parent need only to check the completion box and move on to the next.
If registration can not be finished in one sitting, clicking the "Save" button will save the work already done and allow the parent to continue later.
Parents can even pay registration fees online using the website's link to RevTrak.
The Unit 2 website also includes information areas for each school - Washington and Lincoln elementary schools, NMS and Robinson High School.
These will include digital versions of all the handouts they would receive at registration, including student handbooks, information about asbestos and more. All can be downloaded and printed.
Also, while the parents of RHS athletes are registering their students, they can watch a video explaining the school's athletic code.
Parents who watch the video and sign off on line will not be required to attend an annual meetings on the policy.
