I've been sitting here this morning watching the flap over the vote count in the Iowa Democratic primary. Last night I watched as several of the candidates went on television to announce how well the had done and some announcing they were winners.

|Visitor from Florida finds kindness on the square|
My name is Clinton Gortney. Along with my wife and family, I often come to the Robinson area to visit my wife's mother, who lives in Oblong. We live in Florida.
A couple of days after Christmas, we were shopping on the square in Robinson and planned to meet at the Mexican restaurant, a favorite of ours. My wife and daughter drove to the restaurant, and I decided to walk there. After all, it was only a block from the Heath store.

|Constitution gives president 'latitude' to act|
I have often thought the framers of the Constitution were wise beyond their years. It's almost as if they had knowledge of what the country would face in the future and wrote it to avoid the country's collapse.

|Haters, whiners and cowards are taking over|
Has America turned from being the land of milk and honey to that of hate, whining and protesting? I know I watch too much news both on the web and TV but I can't help but think that America has fundamentally changed in the past 10-20 years.
