Intersection not bad if you're careful

I came to Robinson in 1984 and travel the Country Club/Prison Road-1A intersection (letter to the editor, Aug. 29 Daily News) at least once a week. True,it is an angling intersection. The roadway is wide at the intersection and it is easy to square up to 1A. Doing this allows you to see in both directions with ease. A full stop and patience will let you proceed safely.

Taxpayers 'reward' companies for leaving

About seven years ago, the American taxpayer bailed out General Motors to the tune of $51 billion. They have rewarded us by building a $1 billion plant in Mexico.

Ignoring God part of 'downward spiral'

Watching recent news events and more especially events since Ferguson, Mo. and Baltimore a year ago, one can't help noticing our nation is spinning out of control and nobody seems to know how or why it is happening.
