Unknown Samaritans are appreciated

Editor:

This is a first for me, a letter to the editor.

Isn't America great - with all its faults its still the best place to be. Then Illinois is next best, but best of all is Crawford County. The people are the best. I am talking about going out of your way to be nice and helpful.

When Don and I fell at McDonald's, someone stopped to help. I didn't know him. Then when I left my billfold at McDonald's on one of the tables, someone got it, took it to the sheriff with everything inside... Credit cards, money, driver's license, not a thing missing. No name so I could not thank them or give an award.

What a place to live. God is good all the time. Bless you whoever you are.
