The late afternoon sun glints off the wreckage of a 2007 Harley-Davidson as Robinson firefighters survey the scene of an accident on Duncanville Road, about a quarter-mile west of New Hebron, Monday. According to the Crawford County Sheriff's Office, a 2016 GMC driven by Jami Deckard, 33, rural Robinson, was turning into a driveway about 5:22 p.m. Deckard, blinded by the sun, turned in front of the motorcycle ridden by Jesse Richart, 24, rural Robinson. Richart was taken to Crawford Memorial Hospital by United Life Care Ambulance Service. Both vehicles had more than $1,500 damage and were towed from the scene. The Robinson Fire Protection District assisted at the scene. (Randy Harrison photo)
The Hutsonville Board of Education reorganized and began making plans for the end of this year and the start of next.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Sexual assault is a subject that is not discussed frequently, it occurs more often than most realize. At Counseling and Information for Sexual Assault/Abuse, we provide services to help survivors and their families deal with the after-effects.
One in five women and one in 71 men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime. One in four girls and one in six boys will be sexually abused by age 17. These survivors often do not seek help, or speak about their abuse. Eighty percent of perpetrators are people the survivor knows.
