More than 4,600 Norris Electric Cooperative members were without power after a strong Wednesday-afternoon storm snapped power poles along Illinois Route 33.

Kids are jumping right in for the summer swim clinic at the Robinson City Pool. A half-dozen Robinson High School athletes were recognized recently for their achievements on the diamond this past season, as they were named to the All-Little Illini Conference baseball and softball teams.
